The Myers-Briggs Company Champions Human Connection in the Age of AI at ATD25 Conference & EXPO

In Its Largest Presence Ever at the Event, The Company Takes a position on the rise of AI and the importance of Human Relationships

Dublin, PA, May 18, 2025—The rapid onslaught of artificial intelligence (AI) is bringing critical questions to the forefront about the role of humans in a time of constant change. At ATD25 in Washington, D.C., The Myers-Briggs Company is taking a clear stance: that leaning into human relationships to help contextualize the flood of new information at our fingertips will be a key competitive advantage.

As such, our key theme will be psychological safety and the role of personality type as a means of accelerating the conditions required for humans to thrive.

Psychological safety was first introduced by author and Harvard University professor Amy Edmonson, and it refers to a shared belief within a team or organization that members feel safe to take interpersonal risks, speak up, and express concerns or mistakes without fear of negative repercussions or humiliation. Sponsored by The Myers-Briggs Company, Professor Edmonson will build on the concept as the main-stage keynote speaker on Tuesday, May 20, with a presentation about how to change the perspective on setbacks by embracing the intelligent failures essential for innovation.

Additionally, to engage attendees in meaningful conversations around talent development, workplace challenges, personality type, and psychological safety, tools, solutions, and resources will be available at the company’s dynamic, interactive booth. Among them is the exclusive white paper Psychological Safety and Type, by consultant, trainer, speaker, and author Dr. Roger Pearman. His most recent work discusses how individuals’ preferences can be integrated into a culture where people feel confident taking interpersonal risks.

The Myers-Briggs Company’s booth is also hosting six learning sessions tailored to tackle the key issues L&D professionals experience today. Company experts will explore critical workforce concerns—from communication to leadership and productivity—through the lens of psychological safety. Attendees will learn actionable strategies to foster environments where people feel empowered to freely share innovative ideas, problems, errors, and fears. See the full schedule below.

"We've listened to our practitioner community and their specific needs to develop a full suite of resources for the conference and beyond,” said Chief Experience Officer of The Myers-Briggs Company Dayna Williams. “Psychological safety has long been core to our family of products and is becoming more relevant than ever due to recent workplace shifts and the need for environments where people feel comfortable sharing ideas and their differences.”

“We help our practitioners personalize learning, support the development of soft skills, and drive workplace success with practical, actionable tools designed for today’s evolving work environment,” added Williams. “By embracing this approach, individuals and teams can reach their full potential and perform at their best, ultimately building a stronger, structured workforce for the entire organization.”
