  • The program is available as a public program or, if you have multiple people at your organization that you want to certify together, as an in-house.

    The Strong Interest Inventory® Certification Program is designed to give you the knowledge you need to provide your students, clients, or employees with insights and direction as they explore personal interests and career options. This engaging and practical learning experience will enable you to use the assessment competently and ethically, and includes the following topics:

    • Introducing, administering, and providing feedback with the Strong Interest Inventory® assessment and the Strong Interest Inventory® 244 assessment.
    • Using the reported assessment results to provide one-on-one feedback sessions, including case study review and practice feedback session.
    • Using the reported assessment results to provide interactive learning experience for groups.
    • In-depth review of the foundational Profile report, as well as other available reports and materials.
  • Yes. You should allow up to 3.5 hours to complete pre-work. This includes taking the Strong Interest Inventory and the Strong Interest Inventory 244 assessments online, and completing a mandatory reading assignment.

  • To successfully complete the Strong Certification Program and attain “Strong® Certified Practitioner” status, you must complete the following requirements within 90 days of program start date:

    • Attend and fully participate in the entirety of the 2-day Strong Certification Program.
    • Achieve a score of 80% or higher on a 20-question multiple choice exam administered at the close of day 2.
